The Reef Ambassador program is a ground breaking project, training community outreach volunteers to actively inspire, motivate and support their communities to better understand and help protect local marine environments.
Although RCA is not an advocacy organisation, we recognise the potential power of the right blend of science, optimism and concrete action that can empower passionate community members to support reef resilience in their local area.
Through this strategic, science-based and collaborative outreach network, we seek to build a network of passionate and informed community members, helping to translate our citizen science findings into meaningful action.
Our next course is scheduled to commence on 22 March. We will have 2 online sessions (22 March and 29 March, 6.00pm-9.00pm) and a face to face day on 2 April (location will be Brisbane or Sunshine Coast and Townsville). You must be able to attend all sessions. Register your interest by visiting the calendar!
Cost is $150.00 payable via direct deposit. We will provide details once your application is accepted.
