Our citizen science research provides valuable data on the health of Australian reefs. Our globally standardised protocols mean data is relevant on local, national and global scales.

We work closely with government and non-government groups to target priority monitoring sites and fill gaps in reef health knowledge. This unique, unbiased data set is available for education and research applications via our Reef Health Database.

Database in development

For now, you can view monitoring site locations via the website. But we're actively working on a rather epic custom designed database with a huge amount of generous in-kind support from web guru and long-term volunteer Josh Passenger. Stay tuned. Seriously, its going to be amazing.

Want data?

We make the data collected by trained volunteers available for research and education purposes. However, while we transition to our new website and database, we aren’t able to process data requests. If you have an urgent query, please email us.
