Welcome to REEFSearch for Schools!
REEFSearch for Schools aims to inspire EVERYONE in Australia to feel a connection to our reefs and oceans, and to understand how our daily lives affect these ecosystems: no matter where they live.
The REEFSearch for Schools program is designed to complement the REEFSearch program in raising awareness about reef conservation, promoting community engagement in reef health issues, improving knowledge about reef ecosystems, and inspiring responsible environmental behaviours. The REEFSearch for Schools program helps to bring reefs to the classroom and students to the reef, providing practical and engaging educational and data collection tools.
This REEFSearch Schools program encourages students to share their knowledge and experience with the wider community through available media, and to inspire others to make simple changes that can make big differences.
