Our Coast to Coral Community Lecture series is back for 2019! Come and join Reef Check Australia at Karma Collab Hub, for an evening of discovery, inspiration and appreciation of our local marine, coastal and catchment environments. Each month we have a new, interesting and engaging speaker.

This month we'll hear from Jaime Kruusmaa, Gold Coast Coordinator for Reef Check Australia.

Come along as Jaime gives the lowdown on the newly released 2018/19 South East Queensland Season report card. She'll be discussing the efforts that RCA SEQ citizen scientists have made in collecting reef health data along the Gold Coast and wider SEQ region, and share findings about the amazing, yet little known reef structures found at our front doorstep, and the ways that EVERYONE can get involved in better understanding and protecting their local reef resources.

The talk will be held at Karma Collab Hub, 47 Lemana Lane, Miami. Doors open at 6:15 pm for a 6:30 pm start. Stay after the event for a discussion with the presenter and other attendees and enjoy a pizza-rific snack.
