Tackling climate change & protecting coral reefs

At Reef Check Australia, we firmly believe that the cool t-shirt maketh the man. Or at least that great T-shirt designs can change the world!

We're about to launch a new online Sea Store and we want to kick off with a super-seller: an iconic Reef Check Australia t-shirt that everyone wants to wear!

This month, we're running a competition to find that world-changing design. So get out your crayons, or your graphic design package of choice, and send us your representation of "ready to wear RCA".

Essentials

The winning design will include either the RCA bannerfish logo (or a representation thereof) or the words "Reef Check Australia", or both. Otherwise, there are no restrictions to your creativity. Flouro, monochrome, rainbow, illustration, fine-art, typography - anything goes.

Climate change - it's so hot right now

There are opportunities for witty T-shirt slogans abound with this subject. The cleverer you can be, the more chance of you winning! If it makes us snigger, it must be good!

Prize

All designs submitted will be placed on a dedicated website gallery - so you'll be famous just for entering! The winning design will be produced in t-shirt form by Reef Check Australia and you'll be promoted as the winning designer. We'll print you a few t-shirts for you and a couple of friends. Then, if it's really successful and we sell hundreds, we might even be able to offer you a percentage of the proceeds - no promises!

Design submissions must be received by Sunday 31st January 2010.

The competition is open to all Reef Check Australia members and friends. If you're not a member and would like to enter, just sign up at http://members.reefcheckaustralia.org/membership.cfm 

Small print

By entering this competition, you are giving exclusive permission to RCA to use your design for promotional purposes and to apply this without restriction to any RCA merchandise for direct retail through our Sea Store, through third party retailers and any other means to generate revenue for the organisation and its conservation activities.
