Volunteer Project Manager/Marketing Officers (office based):
Reef Check Australia is looking for some motivated and independent people to assist with the charity's activities in our Townsville office. We are currently looking for volunteers to help out in the office as Marketing or Project Manager Officers for 1-3 months from August - December 2010. Your position will involve leading projects such as our new premium membership program, running marine conservation educational programs, or assisting with research. This position is perfect for those looking to gain experience in marketing, PR, and project management.
Volunteering with a small organisation like Reef Check Australia offers a whole wealth of experience unobtainable in other volunteer positions. You will not just be stuffing envelopes or filing, but will instead be involved in organising, developing and leading different projects, gaining invaluable skills and experience. Volunteer Dive Project Officers (coming soon):
We will soon be looking for volunteer Dive Project Officers for our 2011 GBR Survey Season (starts February 2011). This position involves organising and leading coral reef surveys on our research sites on the Great Barrier Reef. This position is perfect for marine biology graduates who wish to increase their experience and skills in this area. Further details will be posted soon.
